Soup spoon project

How to make a one-shot panorama.


Step 1
Buy a soup spoon which is reflective on the convex part, bend the handle 180 degrees.

Step 2
Set up a digital camera which points up vertically.

Step 3
Hold or suspend the soup spoon above the digital camera so that the center of view of the camera
lens points directly at the convex part of the soup spoon.

Step 4
Take a picture and load it onto a computer


Step 5
Write some software to translate the projection to a panoramic image.


Step 6
View the panoramic image in a standard panorama viewer (click and drag the image to "look around").
